Safety & Emergency Training

To carry on the business of safety and emergency trainings- oil & gas safety courses and certification and to operate as a safety and emergency training centre (SETC) in line with the requirements enshrined in the mineral oil (safety) regulations, and provisions of sections 60(a) of the petroleum (drilling and production) regulations 1969 as amended for the training of personnel who work in hazardous areas and perform safety critical tasks in the oil and gas industry. These trainings aim to equip personnel with the cognate skills required to understand hazards/HSE risks and improve trainees knowledge, understanding and proficiency (KUP) to respond to different levels of emergencies.

Some of the safety and emergency training courses include basic offshore safety induction and emergency training (BOSIET), helicopter underwater escape training (HUET), first aid, fire lighting, medical emergency response, minimum industry safety training for downstream operations (MISTDO) which is a basic safety training requirement which must be undertaken by all personnel working in the downstream sector of the Nigerian oil and gas industry and other safety courses such as basic safety training, lockout/tagout training, permit to work (PTW) training, incident investigation and reporting training, job hazard analysis (JHA) awareness training, site emergency response & control course, etc. in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. To also carry on other specialized oil and gas trainings such as: confined space safety training, H2S & SCBA escape training, Designated First Aid & CPR, work @ heights safety training, High-Pressure and Ultra-High pressure Water Jetting & certification trainings, Scaffold Erection, Inspection & Supervision Training, Fire Warden/Fire Watch Training, etc.

Professional Maritime & Offshore Safety Training

To carry on the business of training and manpower development, to operate as a maritime training institute for the training of seafarers and intending seafarers in all imo approved model courses and other courses including mandatory STCW basic safety courses, certificate of competency (COC) and other courses at the support, operational and management levels relevant to the growth, development and certification of ratings and officers. To impact into trainees the requisite cognate practical training skills that will improve the knowledge, understanding and proficiency (KUP) of seafarers’ competence level that will enhance the capabilities of all shipboard personnel in accordance with the requirements of STCW code as amended. Also to carry on the business of Offshore Safety trainings such as: Sea Survival, offshore crane operator, lifting and hoisting, banksman and slinger training, etc.

Professional Equipment Operator Training

Marine Inspection, Equipment Certification & Technical Training

To carry on the business of marine equipment integrity inspection/survey/audit and certification of boat/ship’s hull and machinery like: offshore & onshore marine vessels, e.g., crude oil tankers, anchor-handling vessels (AHV), diving support vessels (DSV), marine auxiliaries, tugboats, crew boats, fuel & water barges, spud ramp & flat-top barges, house boats, etc. To ascertain their sea worthiness, operational readiness and fitness for purpose. to carry on the business of inspection (survey, examination and testing) and certification of equipment such as cutter-suction dredgers, high pressure pumps & accessories for pressure-testing of flowlines, flush pumps & accessories for flushing of flowlines, forklifts, swamp buggies, self-loaders, welding machines, air compressors, excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, manlifts, oil field equipment and all other ancillary equipment. To carry on the business of training marine (marine mechanics), mechanical and electrical equipment repair & maintenance personnel.

Lifting & Inspection

To carry on the business of inspection (survey, examination and testing) of hoists, lifts, chains, ropes, lifting tackles, cranes (pedestal/deck cranes, derrick cranes, electric overhead travelling {EOT} cranes, gantry cranes, motor-cranes, Rough Terrian mobile cranes, etc.), life-saving appliances {LSA} davits, self-loaders, and other lifting machines, and to also operate as lifting equipment consultant. To carry on the business of training the lifting operations crew/team such as crane operators, self-loader operators, banksman, riggers, slingers, etc. To carry on the business of inspection (examination, testing & calibration) of steam boilers, steam receivers, steam containers, air receivers and other pressure vessels to verify compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.

International Safety Management (ISM) Code Audits

To carry on the business of international safety management (ism) code audits on shipping companies and their ships for the safe operation of ships and pollution prevention. To also carry on the business of iso management systems audits- quality management system (ISO 9001:2015), occupational health & safety management systems (ISO 45001:2018), environmental management systems (ISO 14001:2015) for compliance verification.

To carry on the business of maintenance and repairs of marine equipment, industrial powerplants, marine auxiliaries such as generators, air compressors, pumps, valves, etc. To carry on the business of construction, welding and fabrication of marine equipment such as boats, barges, tanks and all other ancillary equipment. To carry on the business of ultrasonic thickness testing and hydro testing services. To carry on the business of civil construction works such as construction & maintenance of jetties, land reclamation, sand stock piling and dredging services. To also carry on the business of construction of offshore and onshore pipeline services, etc.

Oil & Gas Integrated Services

To carry on business of well cementing, coil tubing and nitrogen services, high pressure pumping, stimulation. Wild well fire control services, wellbore cleanup (tools and chemicals), waste management, filtration, e-line and slickline services, pipeline services, liner hanger services, down hole tools services, environmental restoration services (soil remediation / oil spill recovery/cleanup), specialized oil field services in well construction and well intervention services.

To carry out the business of PVT sampling and analysis, corrosion/cathodic protection, de-sanding of pressure vessels, surge vessels, and all supporting systems, pressure testing and calibration of valves, instrument gauges and all other electronic items connected there to. To carry on the business of petroleum exploration, drilling construction, maintenance of refineries, pipeline construction and maintenance including sectional replacements, filling stations, sales and supply of gas, oil, Agro-allied products, petroleum and petro-chemical products in all its ramification, to carry on the business of oil field accommodation facility and management services.
